Who goes into a game with players who aren’t upto it. King is a non entity and Watters shouldn’t have started. Ralls and Doyle should always be playing. Watters just doesn’t make any effort. Eli King I thought had a good game. Looks a good midfielder. Kept things moving and ticking over in the middle of the park nicely.

Morison is fully aware that we have another important game on Saturday, so it was inevitable he would rotate his team and keep his best players as fresh as possible for as long as possible. The win now puts us in a position whereby these wholesale changes are likely to become the norm, safe in the knowledge that we have put a huge buffer between ourselves and the relegation places.

He picked his team and realised one player wasn’t up to it,subbed him early to correct his mistake.Not clueless in my opinion

he is doing a good job from what i can see. football is much better and we are winning
y dont we juts give him a chance . we only see what happens on a saturday and not in training
least when someone is struggling he dont take long or is not scared to change it.

I thought it was a massive vote of confidence selecting ELi King, these minutes in the bank are going to pay off big time.

Its a massive step from U23 to championship (its why i am sceptical about Morison) and none of our lads were really ready, but Isaak Davies and Bagan are really kicking on now. You need at least 10 games to get the feel and you need to play the games to bank the experience. King did nothing of note again but it also didn't look like we just picked him out of the crowd either. Only going to get better.

I think this is a fair and honest assessment and one the OP has the right to put forward.

The fact we won was down to a clear acceptance that the original starting line up was all wrong, whoever picked it.

Would Anyone on this board have been happy to stick with that team for the majority of the game? No, I thought not. It was changed even before half time.

I'm over the moon with 3 points, but winning, albeit all that matters at this end of the season, still papers over glaring team selection and squad issues.

Saturday Wednesday Saturday Tuesday Saturday Tuesday. Bit of a pattern there which is why rotation is needed. And as been said on other posts. The likes of Eli King etc starting will give him more experience for more rotation in the future.

I don’t think he’s clueless at all.
