Should people self isolate for flu ? Covid now has a lower mortality rate than flu ,when 50k died of winter flu back in 2014 did you call for isolation ? This covid is something that we all need to live with we have herd immunity just like flu now time to move on with life ,the cure for covid the last 2 years has been worse than the virus .

Time to get on with it now my friend, which means dropping every rule and restriction. If you want to isolate, wear a mask etc, then it is entirely up to you, Even the government 'experts' are now saying it is akin to a mild cold for almost everyone.

i posted just before xmas that drakeford was totally overreacting to omicron ignoring evidence from south africa that it was little more than the common cold..dont agree with Boris politically but hes got it spot on with lifting all restrictions...weve got to live with the virus like we do with the flu and return to complete normality..weve all got a huge chunk of imunity now thru either vaccines or exposure to the virus.

It’s not that simple for unvaccinated people or those whose antibodies have waned. Death rates from omicron going up in Israel as protection goes down.
