Their manager, team or fans are not giving up

Fri Feb 11, 2022 8:05 am

Most neutrals want them to stay up and are rooting for them.

I think it’s only Forest and Cardiff fans and of course the other clubs that are in the relegation battle that want to see Derby down.

But you have to at least acknowledge how well they’ve done.

Tuesday March 1st Cardiff City v Derby County

I think their will be a tidy crowd at the CCS when we play them.

Be interesting how many fans they bring?

Reading would have 28 points and be in the same position, Derby would have 37 points and would be 15th, so they will probably pass Reading by the end of the season and send them down!

Annis I’d be surprised if they don’t bring as many as Forest did.

Andrew,

It’s a Tuesday night and I honestly believe if they still can stay up , they will bring 2,000.

There starting 11 is still pretty decent got a lot of seasoned championship pros there.
In their position it's quite easy to create a siege mentality and get everyone pulling in the same direction.
It's also helped that Reading have had points deducted and Peterborough and Barnsley have been so poor, most seasons they would be cut adrift by now.
Credit to them they could of easily given up players handed in transfer requests Rooney didn't jumped ship while his stock is high.

They need to be relegated otherwise the punishment in no way fits the crime.

We quickly forget the lies and fraudulent accounting that has gone on for years.

The fact that they STILL have a strong first 11 is damning of their behaviour while in administration.

They are STILL to confirm they can see out the season. Their only real asset was the players and a few more should have gone in the transfer window but they kept their team and pleaded for an extension.

I'm not sure 'Boro and Wycombe should have a monetary claim over them but Derby did make the play offs and avoid relegation through questionable means. Remember that they cancelled a game with us due to a weak squad and NOT snow.

I heard a rumour that Rooney is being paid by a betting company and the club. No idea whether that is true or not?
