Millwall boss Gary Rowett:

“They are a team whose form has definitely improved. Steve is a young manager and he’s had an impact, certainly in the last period of games.

“They will come full of confidence. I know Steve is quite a popular figure around the club and rightly so, when a player comes back and they have that history then he should be given respect for that.

“We look forward to playing them. Our home form has been excellent. We’re certainly not fearful of playing anyone at home, regardless of how good their current form is.”

Cardiff City boss Steve Morison:

"I had a really good time there. Seven years over three periods. Seven good years. Play-off heartache, play-off success, good runs in the Championship, surviving relegation.

"All those things I did there stood me in good stead for being a good coach and manager now.

"I experienced a lot. You do speak to other people in the game you lean on, but I can say I’ve pretty much experienced everything in football, especially at this level.

"A lot of the things we lean on is personal experience. That’s one thing we’ve got in myself and the staff in the office.

"My experiences of Millwall have allowed me to have a lot of knowledge of what it requires to stay up, get promoted, consolidate, be loved, be hated. All of it."

Not after being heavily booed for taking the knee...

Doyle whips into the box, but it's headed clear.

Millwall try to break, but run it out of play.

A spot of head tennis going on now on the halfway line.

First sight at goal.

Doyle's freekick is worked to Hugill, who gets the ball across goal despite having his shirt nearly ripped off him.

Harris tries to shoot on the turn, but loses his balance and, with it, any power.

Jed Wallce plays it off Bagan for a corner.

Cardiff initially clear, but Millwall work it to Mitchell, who pings in a low ball into the box from the left.

Flint is there to intercept.

Drameh then counters and tries to slip a ball into Hugill, who wins a foul.

Nice work from Ng, who stands up well to Burke.

Cardiff throw deep inside their own half.

Harris wins a foul off Jake Cooper.

It's a decent chance for Doyle to whip one in, but he pings it straight out for a goal kick.

Cardiff not happy.

Harris breaks away down the left, but play is called back with McNamara down.

He's made a remarkable recovery and play is back underway.

Good work from Wintle.

Sticks with Jed Wallace as he scampers down the right hand side before eventually getting a foot in on the touchline.

He ran into his own player & fell over clutching his head. Good tactic if you can get away with it.

Some nice work from the visitors in midfield sets Drameh free down the right, but he can't beat Murray Wallace, who stands up well.

Millwall win a corner.

It's whipped in towards the near post and a mis-communication between Harris and Smithies sees the ball cannon of the former and out for another corner.

Hearts were in mouths a little there.

Second corner comes to nothing and Cardiff have a goal kick.
