We would only be able to sign loan players and free transfers anyway and we can do that now. Don't need to wait until January.

We're only half way through September. A check of last season's table 'at this point' would tell you we are better off....

Agree with Carl - we surely can't have such a period like this again, with most of our key players injured (Bellamy, Chopra, Drinkwater, Olofinjana) or not currently match-fit (Koumas, Keogh, Bothroyd, McPhail).

It'll be us and Burnley in the top two at the end of the season IMO. Don't think QPR can prove me wrong.

Morning Sven - you are half right - you'll see that after seven games last year we also had 13 points but a better goal difference of one. However we now sit 3rd as opposed to 5th last year.

Jones teams normally start the season OK and looking at this year it compares favourably and apart from last year and the season we topped the table in October 2006 it's the best start we have had under Jones. If we get 2 wins in the next 2 home games we will be 1 point worse than our mid table capitulation season. Get the big boys back and we'll be fine.

carl im loving your posts since the ipswich game, very positive and i totally agree with them.... i have no doubt that this is our year, we will do it .....we have been blighted by injuries at the wrong time of the season when players should be building there match fitness up and gelling as a team, instead of having a settled starting 11 and placing 1 or 2 squad players in at a time we have been forced to start mainly un fit players ie koumas,rae macphail all at once..... the extent of our injuries has been awfull and 5 key players will not be out at the same time agaim this year...... keep the faith and watch us go.....
