The Cardiff boss had suggested in the week that tonight would come too soon for Joe Ralls. But he starts and captains the side tonight.

I for one am pleased for Ralls having this opportunity.

I reckon this is SM’s way of saying he needs him for next season if he gets the job.

Come on board offer him at least an extension to his contract because if he carries on the way he has been more recently then his agent will have something lined up for him soon.
