No problems at all if you get off at South Bermondsey. There is a safe walkway for away fans which leads you straight to the Away turnstiles. There can be a bit of a wait after the game while the police hold the visiting fans back before allowing them access back to the station platform. In my experience, definitely a trip that is much better to do by train.

You just need to have your witts about you and be respectful of your surroundings but you should do that wherever you are. Always go this route having had a couple of pints in the Market Porter before hand. Looking forward to it.

Myself and a friend also using South Bermondsey, heard it was the best option if you were also browsing London on the day.

I'll be going to the Market Porter in Borough Market. There's plenty of great pubs around there though. I like the Thameside Inn down on the river a couple of hundred yards away. Borough market is great particularly if your train from Brighton is in and out of London Bridge. 2 minute walk, you'd be mad to go elsewhere. You could give the Aqua bar up the Shard a go. Slightly dearer on the drinks but fantastic views and free to get into. Would be great after the game, its fantastic as the night draws and the offices light up across the city. Sometimes a queue but it moves quickly, you wont be in it long.
