I am a Liverpool FC steward who had the pleasure of looking after the Cardiff City supporters today at Anfield.

Their behaviour was impeccable and their support for their club was admirable. News of bad behaviour is reported quickly but news of great support and good behaviour does not make the same headlines that it deserves. I would just like to thank the travelling Cardiff City fans for their their great support and their great behaviour that was a credit to their club. Please could you pass on our stewards thanks to your supporters for their contribution to a great sporting occasion. Many thanks to all your supporters that attended the game today, they should all be proud of the way they represented your club today.

After the disaster at Ashton Gate this is music to my ears. The fans sounded great and it's fantastic to hear that the behaviour matched the volume. Please now can we ditch that awful Swansea Paedo song? That does no credit to anybody. Well done fans and thank you to the Liverpool Steward for reporting.
