Jai came on in the 93rd min.



Jai Semenyo joined Cardiff City's U23 side in June 2021, following a successful trial period.


The right-back was previously playing for Mangotsfield United, and joined City on a one-year contract a year ago.

Semenyo made his debut for Cardiff City away at Liverpool yesterday on in the 93rd came in as a substitute for the last minute.

The enterprising full-back is eligible to feature for Ghana, England and Togo at international level.

It puzzled me at the time - he was on the pitch for about 30 seconds - dont think he touched the ball and then the ref blew up

I liked it, what may seem pointless to us probably felt like winning the lottery to him. It's good that Morison is slowly introducing and rewarding these players like this.

Saw someone in the Cardiff end having loads of we hate the west country chants aimed at him. Was told it was his brother who plays for Bristol city

In fairness he was stripped ready to come on for a while and the ball just didn't go out of play for what seemed like an eternity
