KEIFFER MOORE WARNED BY WELSH PUNDIT

Kieffer Moore warned about Bournemouth move

BBC pundit Iwan Roberts believes Kieffer Moore's move to Bournemouth has given the striker a chance to one day ply his trade in the Premier League, but has warned that game time may well be harder to come by for the Wales international.

Moore completed a move to the Cherries on deadline day following much speculation, with Cardiff boss Morison claiming the 29-year-old had handed in a transfer request in order to force the move through.

Bournemouth are currently third in the Championship, with promotion very much a realistic aim, but Roberts isn't sure just how much action Moore will see over the coming weeks.

"I'm not 100 per cent sure he's going to be starting games if I'm honest," he told the Ellis James Feast of Football podcast.

"They've got Dominic Solanke up front, who had a slow start to his career. He didn't really get a chance at Liverpool, moved to Bournemouth and struggled in the Premier League.

"But he's scoring goals for fun in the Championship this season. The way they play, they do have that lone striker, and he's been that lone striker.

"So I don't know if Moore will start if Solanke is fit. He might have to spend quite a bit of time on the bench.

"It was inevitable I think. His last game was down at the Vitality, where he came off with a knock to his foot. He couldn't wait to come off that day. He hasn't played for Cardiff since for one reason or another.

"His head's been turned and he hasn't been the player this season that he was last season, let's be honest
."

Roberts believes the speculation around Moore, and the failed move to Wolves in the summer, was also at least partially responsible for his struggle in recapturing the form seen last season.

"I think he was majorly disappointed that the club didn't' accept the offer from Wolves in the last transfer window in the summer. I don't think he's ever got over that.

"Bournemouth won't be too far away from that top two. he's got a chance of playing in the Premier League for the first time.

"I just don't know how many games he's going to be starting because of the form of Solanke.

Pretty much says it all and Keiffer Moore should be hugely embarrassed by his behaviour this season, as his employers saw their asset effectively down tools when they really needed him on top form

Sadly, Keiffer doesn't seem to care one jot...

I've been saying the same for months & most kept saying "he's our best player", "we would be crazy to sell him", "he's worth at least 10 million", " shows our lack of ambition if we sell him", "we'll get relegated without him" etc etc. I hoped I was wrong & that the majority were right but sadly not.

You could see he had lost interest in playing for us along with a lot of the team that have since been sent out on loan or just dropped from the team. He's the worst sort of mercenary who doesn't just go where the money is but sulks until he gets his way. He's probably expecting to be hailed as a hero when he returns to our ground. Good riddance.

Yup!

Seems he will be seen as an opportunist journeyman, only interested in his next buck. The benefit for us was that he had (probably) his best season with us and we reaped some reward, despite his down tooling

No welcome back here from me; and thankfully, I don't have the #TogetherStronger Wales dilemma to worry about

You put up a post from Iwan Roberts who never played for the City, never scored for Wales so what’s the connection? Scoring goals for fun in the Championsip”- sorry not this season.
You are pathetic fella.

Someone puts an entirely relevant post on here about our top scorer who only left this week, but is still Wales main striker and for a reason only known to you, not only can you not see the connection but you seen to have taken personal offence at a picture and a story?!

Were you the one who said earlier in the week that you hoped he breaks his legs?

In the next 5 weeks, Bournemouth play Swansea, Reading, Peterborough and Derby. I hope he has a bloody good few weeks and score goals that will help us and it will fill him with confidence for our WC play offs.

Put the original shithouse post on a Bournemouth and Wales forum. He’s gone and not a City player anymore.

Also, he won’t start in any of said mentioned games due to COVID. Don’t have an emoji for wanker!

You are pathetic fella.

When/if you go back and read the thread properly, fella, you might just see the wood for the trees...

It doesn't really matter who the piece was by but there are two main points worthy of putting it out there; and from what I've read, it doesn't seem too many, if any, are supporting Keiffer

So let's look at the facts rather than the perennial rantings of a very poor poster, i.e. you, who accuses people of (quote) "lauding" the guy...

1: Keiffer has only recently left the club after a drawn out and disappointing departure, so it is newsworthy to many, if not you

2: Roberts was clearly referring to Dominic Solanke in his quoted text, so here goes...

Iwan Roberts: "I'm not 100 per cent sure he (Keiffer Moore) is going to be starting games, if I'm honest," he told the Ellis James Feast of Football podcast.

"They've got Dominic Solanke up front, who had a slow start to his career. He didn't really get a chance at Liverpool, moved to Bournemouth and struggled in the Premier League. But he (Solanke) is scoring goals for fun in the Championship this season. The way they play, they do have that lone striker, and he's been that lone striker. So I don't know if Moore will start if Solanke is fit. He (Keiffer) might have to spend quite a bit of time on the bench.
"

Seems you are the one who needs to 'go to bed' and we'll take your (hoped for) non-response as an apology for your continued pathetic contributions
