I don’t know. Alfie was having a scan at one but looking at the picture of it, it’s not pretty. Touch wood, but I'm not holding out much hope. Sean’s got a scan tonight.

Pre-Liverpool facts

Liverpool have scored 15 goals across their last four meetings with Cardiff City, winning all four matches in what were Premier League ties in 2013-14 and 2018-19.

Cardiff and Liverpool last met outside of league competition during the 2012 League Cup final, a match which was drawn 2-2 with the Reds eventually going on to lift the trophy after a penalty shootout. Cardiff, however, have won the only two FA Cup meetings with Liverpool in 1930 (round 3) and 1928 (round four).

In their six previous campaigns under Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool have been eliminated from the fourth round of the FA Cup on four occasions – more than any other side in the competition in this time.

Starting with their 2008 final defeat to Portsmouth, Cardiff have lost six of their last seven FA Cup ties with top-flight opposition, only moving past Newcastle in round three back in 2013-14.

In round three, Kaide Gordon (17y 96d) became the second-youngest goalscorer in Liverpool's history, after only Ben Woodburn v Leeds in November 2016 (17 years 45 days).

Just a heads up for people with paper tickets, Anfield is all contactless this season. Just read it on their website. Tickets need to be downloaded onto a phone.

I'm more shocked at the 10 votes for Cardiff to win than anything else in this thread tbh unless Liverpool play a youth team then
maybe but I doubt they will I'd be amazed if we kept it under 4 goals vs us but let's pray :bluescarf:

I've checked with the Supporters Club and our paper tickets are fine. Digital tickets are for home fans only.

Will Liverpool play their new £ 50 million signing Luis Diaz. A bona fide Cardiff reject ! Apparently he claimed to have had a pre contract agreement with us in the March before we were relegated from the premier league. Cant remember it myself, but a song in the making.

Looks as if Harvey Elliott will be in the Liverpool squad for the first time since his horrific injury earlier in the season. Didn't expect him back so soon.

Just seen the team.

We were going to get beaten anyway, but with this team, I really fear for the scorecard.

Am disappointed. Very disappointed. Against a team like Liverpool, we have to at the very least be able to compete. There is an argument that we need to keep players for an Important league game against Peterborough on Wed. I get that, I really do....

I also know we have Injuries and cup ties, but many of those on the bench should have started, and if we need to pull them at the hour point then so be it.

As for Colwill?? King now ahead of him? This completely shows our lack of strength in depth.

You have just come out with all the reasons why we are putting out such a team.

As for Colwill he has not been in any squad in recent times for some unknown reason.
