How can we play so well Sunday, then this poor today?
H-T 0-0
Barnsley v Cardiff
Very disappointed
Over to you Steve Morison
Second -half, I expect a totally different display from Cardiff
Some work for Steve Morison to do at half-time

Missing the 2 most influential players. Ralls and Morrison. We neee someone to put their hand up and drive the team on now

Pretty obvious really - the team on Sunday was balanced and had a tenacious midfielder. The team now has vaulks, who is possibly the worst midfielder we’ve had the displeasure of having. We’re totally overrun in midfield now and vaulks might as well be sitting on the halfway line pointing and moaning.

Hard to watch Annis
Second half can only get better

We’ve been like it since Neil Harris was here.
It’s become boring a lot of these players need to go out this summer offering most of them new contracts will be our downfall. Clear out needed, most of us can see it.

One game we were expected to lose another we need to win
Pressure cooker simple things become difficult

Barnsley were fighting for their lives but for all their possession I had a feeling they wouldn't score.Won ugly today but we'd have probably lost that a month ago. What a find that new fella, like a brick shithouse on wheels. Strong as feck.

Ground out a win, pitch shit, couple of injuries but 3 points. Not an issue for me

I think a lot of the problems tonight were missing Ralls then Morrison’s injury. Flint played well when he came on but we missed the leadership of Mozza. The increase in long balls (which got us the winning goal) was due to the state of the pitch.

Ryan,
Easy to say that after the game, but we were awful in the first half and looked like it might go there way

Barnsley were in a position whereby they had nothing to lose whereas we could afford to be a little bit more cautious, in effect not really knowing whether to 'stick or twist'.
Probably every single poster on here would have deemed the performance to be less important than the result. Yet there seems to be an outcry from some that our performance levels didn't match that of the Forest game. Somehow I don't think Morison will be losing too much sleep over the performance and neither should we. A fantastic return from two crucial games. Well done lads !
