Boycott away trips?

Wed Feb 02, 2022 1:23 am

Is anyone else feeling like this after the £1 increase the club has said it will be adding to all away prices after the Bristol toilets issue?
We have got an amazing away following who sold out Bristol despite the £36 cost, and almost 7000 going to Liverpool on the weekend. To put this cost on everyone, when only about ten or twelve were involved is a disgrace frankly.

I wont be going to any remaining away games until they retract this.

I can see why the club are doing it but that doesn't mean I agree. It's almost like the old whole class being put in detention until someone owns up scenario. The facts are people know who damaged the toilets and cost us £50k but nobody will give names so they think they get away with no repurcussions. Nothing annoys people more than having to pay for someone elses behaviour (like the school detention) so this may encourage people to name the idiots who did this and THEY are the ones who people should be venting their anger at for the price increase, not the club. I hope the scum that did it are feeling very uncomfortable with this but I do feel for those who attend away games who have no idea who the idiots were. If people do know, call 101 and report it anonymously and I am sure the club will take direct action instead of having a blanket punishment.

Really no need for that, young fella...

Seems the 'growing up' needs to be done nearer home...! ;)

If you feel differently to the poster, articulate it with a reasoned argument

its not the money its the principle and if you don't mind being told to pay for other peoples damage fair enough. But I think you are the one who needs to grow up.

So you'd stop supporting your team and your enjoyment of traveling away over the principal of £1?

Strange

Of course not in reality. Just doesn't seem right in principle. Maybe the threat would make them realise they're wrong.

Which is where the 'poll' came in and why you might have placed your comments there rather than starting a new thread of one already in existence?

For the record, young 'Harry' claims to be still in school, so probably explains quite a lot... ;) :laughing6:

I will still be going. What was done to the toilets was wrong but our team need the support and I love away days. Boycott only affects the club and our fans

Calling people 'Snowflakes' when you so clearly don't understand either the term or the principle is very you, immature young man

The £1 figure involved is not the point

And people ask me why I am against a lowering of the voting age limit

It's not the £1 increase but the principle behind it that getting to people and rightly so. Calling people snowflakes for standing up to something does not make them snowflakes. Perhaps whe you have grown up a bit you will understand.

Jesus there are some morons on this forum the £1.00 cretins is not the issue it is about the blanket application of guilt on all fans, as if the majority of CCFC fans wake up and think what can I smash up today? The knuckle draggers who done this should be banned for life, let the decent city fans enjoy away days urging City on. Those who carry out mindless vandalism should be jailed. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

How about boycotting games that are more than the 20 is plenty slogan. As for the toilets perhaps club should give outva reward for the scum bags.
