Whinging like a bunch of spoilt kids

Sat Sep 18, 2010 4:13 pm

Have a great evening lads.

I'm off for a bath and out with my wife.

I can't handle reading a load of whining about losing a couple of games, and the weeky after defeat witch hunt - which is generally based toward the wrong players anyway.

Hope you all cheer up cos we are going to murder Millwall next Saturday :D :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

this is a message board designed for people to discuss their opinions, and for you to not agree with people then act as if your better because of it is more childish than anyone on here venting their frustration not at the loss but at the way in which we have lost.

Watched the game on a web stream, I'm disappointed but not despondent, these were two tough games at Leicester and Ipswich early in the season, some players didn't perform but we were still in it until the crazy own goal, and I think things will pan out for the better when we get a settled team.

Let's look forward to Millwall on Saturday and when hopefully we have our key players back. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I’m very disappointed with the results this week, however I am not going to overreact.
We are not going to go through the season without losing games and have off days, after all this is Cardiff City we are talking about, we never do things the easy way.

Let’s not start to panic, it’s a long season and come May I am sure we will be up there, not sure we can make automatic promotion but we will make the play off’s at least.

Keep the Faith

Its the manner of the defeats that disappoint and maddens me. A lot of players should of been making a claim over the 2 games but reinforced they are not good enough. There is still a lot of dead wood about and they have to be moved on if possible.
Unless we can keep the 5 fit and to play regularly then we will struggle. To be fair DJ has tried to ship out Rae but failed.
Keough so far isnt good enough in my opinion and releasing Ross seems to of backfired, by god we needed him over the last two games.
And yes we need to release our feelings on here saves taking it out on the wife when we can abuse each other on here to release the frustration.

Yes the two games against Leicester and Ipswich were tough but QPR coped adequately. The second half performance in both games have been awful, we just didn't compete.

would qpr have coped with 4 or 5 key players missing i doubt it, i'm bitterly disapointed with the last 2 results but not at all surprised like i said on here last night without olofinjana and drinkwater i feared the worst, without them we are left with last seasons centre midfield which we know ain't good enough :(

Annis, I've got a few minutes before going out so I'll give you a reponse. Firstly, its the posts I'm criticising, not anyone in particular.

I too love the club and am frustrated, but we are still in a strong position and have lost to 2 of the divisions better sides with many of our 1st team out. I hate losing too, but some of the reaction just does my head in.

We are a team who have conceded only 6 goals in 7 games.

Yet 2 defeats and you'd think the world has ended - and some of the comments on Hudson are just plain ridiculous. It sickens me that fans of our club will look for scapegoats every time we lose and continuously pick on the same players, often without reason.

I can't just sit back and accept it.

Have a good night Tim, the writing was on the wall at Peterborough Away, but I got smashed for saying so.

Got to agree with Tim, every time there is a defeat it feels like the end of the world on the City forums.

We're under strength, everyone knows it. It's a plausable excuse because it's true. No team in the Championship can do without it's top 4 or 5 players.

Koumas will get fit, as will the others. It takes time. Playing matches is only the half of it.

It's also the same players who take flak everytime this happens. In particular Rae and Hudson. Rae is now a bit part player. Huds was part of the defence that kept 3 clean sheets in a row in the league. Rae comes on last week and settles the game yet gets pillored for a bad pass earlier in the game. Huds gets flak today even though Adam Matthews cost us the game with two horendous mistakes. I think that's a tad harsh. Every player makes mistakes, every manager makes mistakes but at times with our players and managers, you would think they were the cause of aids or cancer such is the reaction at times.

We were rotten 2nd half today, and sounded it 2nd half Tuesday. There is reason for disappointment, granted. However I don't think there is any need for the abuse that gets dished out, and in particular to these two guys. Two games ago everything was great and it was unbeaten marches to the promised land, now it's the end of the world because of these two and the injury prone players we've taken on loan. We've got the best squad in this leageu when everyone's available. Let's see how the rest of the league react when the injuries kick in for them.

Lets look at the bigger picture.

Lets go back to drinking. :ayatollah:

Paul

Nice conclusion :ayatollah:

Agree with pretty much everything. Remember when Rae skipped past one of the Hull players last Saturday and put Koumas in, and he narrowly missed ? If Koumas had put say, Chops through then, most people would've been raving about it for days

Let's see what happens when QPR lose Taarabt, Eprahim, Mackie and Buzasky for a couple of games. Where are the goals coming from then ?

What happens when Millwall lose Henry and Morison ? What happens when Burnley lose Iwelumo ? And what happens when the Jacks lose Dobbie, Sinclair or Pratley ?

We need to stop panicking when we lose. It won't work because neither the manager or players read forums/messageboards. Never have and never will.

I kept thinking about that Rae pass when I watched the hghlights during the week. I'm not saying he's Pele but I don't think he's ever as bad as some make him out to be. Matthews made two mistakes today, It's unfortunate - he'll hopefully recover from it - but it's been sidestepped to have a go at others.

I can see QPR crumbling when they lose a few of them boys, although they seem to have a bit of cash behind so they can maybe buy in January. Millwall have started well, but will be happy to finish midtable. They were hardly playing MAn Utd today either.

Keep the faith lads :ayatollah:

Or that QPR had all their key players while we had Jay who wasn't even fully fit?
