ISSAK DAVIES

Mon Jan 31, 2022 11:33 am

This lad is starting to show some very real progress, he is improving week on week. There have been a number of occasions when he has really made a positive impact when coming off the bench. He has jumped ahead of Colwill and if he continues in this way this lad could be the real deal :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Yep, he's certainly got pace and ability to worry defenders and his crossing is pretty good too.

I just wonder if there is a bit of a fitness issue with him ? He seems to struggle if he starts a game and even yesterday seem to be struggling towards the end. It could be he's just not used to the intensity at this level yet and it's one of the easier things to sort out.

As you say, looks to have jumped ahead of Colwill for now but I'd be very surprised if Colwill didn't come back bigger and better soon.

Whilst scoring a goal into an empty net from two yards is hardly progress, he can only do what he can do.

He needs to become more aggressive on the pitch. I've said potentially, at times, he is the best of a poor bunch. It's up to him to grab that chance, and, at the end of the day, he'll be judged mainly on goals.

If he keeps scoring we'll all be happy.

Be fair to the lad, fella...

The curling shot was class in itself and Isaak Davies had the nouse to follow it up and finish for his first league goal

Coupled with Forest's late consolation almost spoiling the party, I fail to see where you can be negative on this one in any shape or form?

Unless, of course, you are anti-player, as well as anti-Tan/Board?

There are loads of positives after yesterday but still you seek to create (not find) a negative

We set up like a team, played like a team and were great on the front foot throughout or did I miss something :laughing6:

He’s certainly promising but too lightweight at the moment but no doubt will get stronger as he gets older

Collwill after an encouraging start has disappeared recently..if he’s not getting game time with us needs to go out on loan

Bowen was starting to look half decent before his injury is another one who needs to be playing every week
