Good on the club selling Moore

Mon Jan 31, 2022 10:04 am

Yes we might of been able to get more money but his head is not in this club and hasn't been since Wolves bid last year.

He sacked his agent last year when he couldn't get the move done and yesterday i was told he demanded a 20% immediate pay increase in wages.

I hope we do try and bring someone in and replace him and don't just go with what we have.

He done well for us last year but time to move on.

Any player that doesnt want to be here and go - as long as we get a decent fee.
Any player that behaves like this - is not really a professional - rather a spoilt who doesnt his own way.
Goodby good luck - the boot will be on the other foot soon enough especially if Bourenmouth get promoted and then want a better striker.

As you can see via a different thread, the 'rumours' about him downing tools were completely false.

Now, I'm not saying his attitude was in the right place, but would you want to stay where the board, in my opinion, made it clear they wanted you gone?

The club told him in the summer if a bid comes in for you in January you can 100% and someone has bid for him.. He went in yesterday before the bid and asked for an extra 20% wage increase. Like i said he has done well for us but time to move on.

When a prem club comes in for players, your head turns majority of the time and it has done to moore. Not blaming him but he obvs does not want to be here

In hindsight should have sold him to Wolves if an offer did come in.
But for me the fee is about right and if he wasn’t keen staying then best he went.
Good luck to him

I think he's been rubbish this season and it didn't look like he was trying, IMO Hugill put in more effort yesterday that Moore has all season, based on this season we won't miss him so to get £3mill plus has to be a good result!

Footballers careers are short, he has never been a big salary player so best of luck to him.

We are in a rebuild phase and he wants it now.

I haven't been overly impressed by him when i have seen him live, but with better players he will be better.

Shit happens, make the most of it and move on.

Works both ways though. Maybe he wanted out, so they wanted to (rightly imo) sell him. Sort of depends which way you want to look at it and what you want to make of it really.

Yep and you can't blame him.

He knew ad the club knew someone like Bournemouth would come in for him. That sort of move is the right move for all concerned. It allowed us to bring in the loans and it gives Keither the chance to play in the Premier. Win win situation if you ask me.

Why or how could anyone ask for 20% raise mid contract? I can't make sense of it.

Yes that’s pretty much my thoughts on it. Nobody can blame a player for wanting to play at a higher level.
