Poor support by both fans

We certainly have a lot of glory fans

More up for Liverpool than this

About 22,000

Derby had 32,000 and they are dead and buried

We have quite a few fair weather / glory boys that we need to push our crowds up to 22+ imo.

I agree, way way to many.

When your club is this low, that’s when South Wales should rally more and turn up in big numbers.

Maybe quite a few have had enough of the lack of transparity from the top for some time now.

Just read this on FB away days

And on Forest official site they said they had a pro getting tickets if Cardiff and they never arrived until Friday???

Apparently if you listen to Maccydee and Wez those at the top are doing a great job

You’re absolutely right Annis. This is when the club needs its supporters.

When Forest and clubs like Derby have struggled badly their fans turn u in numbers big time.

Even clubs like Wrexham have had good support for the league they are in.

Our fan base can be up there with the best , but sadly can go very quickly the other way.

What a negative post after we won! We never had consistently big crowds get over it.

Re: Crowd Today / Forest Fans:

I think a lot of people lost a bit of interest having to watch the dross of Mick , then covid means some people have lost the habit of going - I have a few OAP mates that go and have been going for years - they have all stopped - mainly due to covid worries, and others that were self employed simply cant afford to go anymore because of money worries

Derbys fanbase is built on 66 seasons in the top division our club has spent 2 seasons in the top division in past 60 years you can't build a big fan base on that

Re: Crowd Today / Forest Fans:

Sun Jan 30, 2022 9:54 pm

Forest only took 1482i tickets and sold them out a few days ago

https://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news ... -sold-out/

The 1482 was their ‘initial allocation’

They clearly didn’t ask for more- as they could have had them if they wanted them.

Sunday on TV, 1482 was about right

Re: Crowd Today / Forest Fans:

I don’t know why people are surprised at todays attendance.
It was a little more than I expected.

We are not a big club and it is what it is.

Our fan base isn’t no where near there with the best. What we have is a large fan base who want to watch the other team.

If half the Manure Utd and Liverpool armchair fans got off their arses now and then to support their local team, city would have 50,000 capacity stadium. :banghead:

Re: Crowd Today / Forest Fans:

I personally will not go to any game that I have to either show a health passport for or test for a virus that I have no symptoms of . Everyone has views on covid and I appreciate a difference of opinion but I personally know quite a few people that have been put off by the political decisions of the Welsh government. Im quite surprised that not many people seem to be bringing this point up. I am not after an argument but just offering the view of someone who up until 2 year ago, was a long time season ticket holder . (I still attend away matches that carry no restrictions )

Re: Crowd Today / Forest Fans:

Forest have spent decades in the top flight, and have 2stars. The last 5 seasons they spent in the PL, they averaged 21-24k..
Not that great imo..

Yep exactly what I have said Annis. Numerous times.

Could be worse we could be selling our captain to avoid administration like we did under the guy you want back, and then employing the guy who bankrupted Leeds to sort the mess out. I mean Riddler makes Dalman look competent. Sam brought him to the club.

16th weren’t we when we sold Kav. In a dilapidated stadium with no assets.

Yeah we are doing awfully now. Those rumours of administration and HMRC cases are stacking up.

Get over your hatred of Tan and realise it’s not all black and white.

We have had a shocker of a season and as the man in charge Tan has to take blame for that. But there’s been a number of factors like a pandemic et all. Sam just overspent when he fucked us up.

Goats , to other fans I argue the case, we took more to them a fact and then they blamed that they were given less tickets etc lol
