Steve Morison out of his depth???

Sun Jan 30, 2022 6:21 pm

Who said that?

Absolute tosh.

That interview and how he has handled his squad the last week shows that to be rubbish.

Good signings too from whoever has authorised those.

Thought you would pipe up here.

The person who authorised these signings is the same person who forced the youth into the 1st team. Hopefully this person can now see that forcing the youth into the 1st team because its going to say pennies, does not work.

Today we play with practically 5 new experienced players and going on that show we might have seen the answer to our troubled season. Its what one or two of us have been saying all season.

Absolutely Spot on Ian,

We are in this position because of the lunatic at the top.

We get one rare moment of enjoyment, but guess what Maccydee has to as usual try to ruin it.

10 players thrown in and demanded that they be played.
When only 3 max good enough.

Let’s enjoy our best day of the season Ian.

The younger guys CAN make the grade. But not all at once chucked in tbr deep end. They need to work hard and bide their time. Guys like Morrison need to stay to allow the guys coming through to learn from them and partner alongside them to be shown what top players are meant To do in leagues like this.

I doubt the recruitment is much to do with him, we have a new team which obviously he has an input but the Southampton guy is making a difference.

Morison, never played Pack or 3 centre halfs so is learning. Loved the 442 !!!!!

How have I ruined anything?

I am supporting our manager who many turned on last week.

You are saying stuff like one rare moment of enjoyment and you and Ian are constantly sniping. I’m the one who continues to support my team.

Well it was three at the back with wing backs, three centre midfielders. Ng was amazing as right centre back.

What's he got to do with any of this? You really can be very peculiar.

You said the person who forced the youth into the first team. That was Mick.

You also said we would lose today, also that they would give up after 5 mins.

So for you to suddenly be proven right as we won as ‘one or two of us have been saying it all year is tosh’

Absolutely you haven’t Annis. You have very positive about Morison and stuck with that. I still think that he is going to keep us up and then push us on.

However, there was a post saying he was out of his depth. This is my response to that after this week, today and his post match interview.

I’m SUPPORTING my manager and my club.

All credit to you Annis. Sadly working this week and can’t get to Barnsley.

Managed to book my day off for Liverpool though.

That’s a joke I’m also working next Sunday.

I was at Bournemouth and West Brom if thats good enough for you?

Tan has forced this youth policy where MM agreed to enforce it so he could get the job.

If you think it was MM idea all along the you are deluded.

And yes I expected us to lose. So what?

Your last sentence does not make sense.

Sorry Maccy looks like it was 3 centre halfs. Looked old school 442 too me. Doughty barely got within 5 metre of Ralls whereas Drameh was pushing up like a right midfielders of bygone days

No worries.

It worked really well didn’t it?

Doughty was up against it but did really well.

If we can add Giles that would be amazing.

Morison said it was three at the back so that is it. They obviously had a plan for Brennan Johnson as he was very quite and Doughty rarely left MCGuiness and wasn't in midfield that often as their #2 had the freedom of the CCS.

Whatever is was it worked so well done the head coach
