Two R’s not one.
Can we please get him a new contract??
What he lacks in pace he makes up for in sheer doggedness. He Controlled that defence today and got young guys around him doing what they needed to do. All bar the consolation goal admittedly.
Guys like him are hard to replace and he could very well bring his replacement through alongside him.
Same for ralls who I thought had a good game now he has some support from wintle and Doyle.

Yeah. Much improved defence.
Must mention Ng too though. It looks a lot more balanced with him there. Bit of pace and can pass a bit.

Definitely. But that’s what combinations are all about. Morrison can be complimented by McGuiness and Ng. The old head with the experience

All round game wasn't too bad but he was a liability, almost cost a goal then did cost us a goal.

100 percent.
Moz is head and shoulders our best defender.

Mozzarella and Ng were superb today.

I have said week after put him in a flat back 4 with PACE around him and there are a few seasons still left in the old dog.
NG is a right back, that is it. He can play right of a three but for now a full back, he is never a wingback

He did lose his man for Forest goal but I'd still start him

He was pushed in the back by the forest player

Morrison let the youngsters do his leg work today and controlled the defence with his head. Just goes to show, if he hasn’t got muppets like Nelson around him then he’s still hugely valuable to us.
NG was superb today, love his fight and is one of the best defenders at the club, not brilliant going forward which is why we haven’t seen the best of him yet.
A word on McGuiness too, he is either going to be our captain within the next 2/3 years or we will have made 15/20 mil on him (6/7 mil knowing our board).

Although he had a good game Ng lost his man today not Morrison! Morrison cannot play with Flint as they have no pace so one has to go in the Summer.I’d stick with Morrison but he must have pace around him!

Although it was a 5 today.

I think A new contract should be offered.
I have to say however, that any player that has experience, skill or guile to lead us next year will want a decent enough salary.
This will see all of the experience, of which there is not a lot, leave and we will be left with cheap, inexperienced, poor quality replacements.

Everytime I think Morrisons time with Cardiff is done, he responds with a very good performance like today. He is a very strong character witha huge heart. Im not sure of a new contract but he is still the best CB at the club in my opinion
