MY VIEW / OPINION:

CARDIFF TODAY SHOWED THE IN-FORM TEAM OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP HOW TO PLAY & WON THIS GAME QUITE COMFORTABLE :bluebird: :bluebird:

In Fact Cardiff played their best football for at least 10 games :bluebird: :bluebird:

STEVE MORISON DESERVES BIG PRAISE FOR TODAY :bluebird: :bluebird:

These 3pts were so important :bluebird:

Cardiff's first League win in 7 games

This has to be Cardiff's best win of the season and with Steve Morisons new look team :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff have now done the double over Forest this season :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff before today had not won a league game for 6 games and had the worst home record in the Championship and lost 9 of their last 10 games.

Forest had the opposite before today.

Steve Morison started with 4 of the new players and Max Watters starting upfront.

Not one of the Academy U23 players started out of the 10 that were put in the first team squad back in August.

Sean Morrison back in as Capt

NO RUBIN COLWILL & IS FIT / NOT EVEN IN MATCH DAY SQUAD??

48% of Cardiff’s points this season came with in Cardiff’s first 6 games.

So gutting about seeing so many empty seats , all the fans by me shocked, Our club should of done cheap tickets as we received £130,000 for Tv Coverage :bluebird:

SECOND-HALF: Forest were well up for this half, but Cardiff stood firm for a long period and then actually looked the best team out their today :bluebird: :bluebird:

Certainly.

All 4 players brought in this window have made a difference.

Hugill very impressive and exactly a City type of player. Feel he'll do well.

Doughty looked lively and full of beans. Marked Johnson well.

Ng seemed to improve playing in back three too. Had a good game.

Midfield that's easily our best three. Doyle, Ralls and Wintle.

Watters ran a lot but Davies added more when he came on.

Overall. Impressive performance against a good side. Let's hope we build on it.

Great result. 3 points more than I expected.

The new guys seem to be settling in too.

Will Vaulks what a tackle on Grabban.

With Morrison, even when losing you felt there was a plan.

It’s nice to see he has got a few players he wanted in and they are making the impact we needed. Doyle is as gifted as the likes of Tomlin but without the belly and looks full of running.

Forest switched things around but didn’t have an answer and did is on a set piece which is disappointing

Agree with above. Hats off to Morison and his team. All The loanees did really well but so did most of the team. For a change it will be difficult to choose M of M .
Also a word for Ng and Ralls excellent. :bluebird: :bluebird:

Good performance. Even better result. However, we still need to improve our game management. unnecessarily close at the end. but that's enough nit picking.

I thought Doughty did OK too.He won't face that much gas every week and was good going forward.

A really good performance today against a very good in form side.

Some things that stood out today:

We played with an aggression and a desire not seen for ages.
Playing two up top made a huge difference to how we played today - clearly caught Forest on the hop as well.
Midfield balance was much better - Ralls was brilliant today, aided by the fact that he didn’t have to be defender and playmaker.
NG was superb. End of.
Davies again great when he came on - speed, energy, skill and positive.
Morrison did make a difference at the back - marshalled well.

Got to use this as a spring board now to keep that level of energy and quality up

A very good win against a dangerous side. The first 25 mins they threw everything down their right side of attack and we just about coped.Very difficult to pick a MOTM with so many good performances so I’ll go for Steve Morison who seemed to get everything right today.

Very pleasing today. Best I've felt as a supporter this season.

Now, Barnsley is even more Important. Lose it, and the benefit of this game evaporates immediately. Win it or at least avoid defeat and it will build confidence which young inexperienced players will thrive on.

Won't criticise any players today. A few, i'll say were quietly efficient, but being part of an overall decent team performance means theyve done their job.

2 more performances like that will see us beat Barnsley and Peterboro convincingly

Best performance of the season for me, not just the result but overall display. And we really had 6 new players in today including our loan recalls and who have not played together before. I was at Bristol and was gutted to see how we capitulated in the second half and was very concerned. SM said he needed new players if some of the existing ones were not going to step up and he made a very brave decision in replacing half the squad today IMHO. A very important 3 points today and hopefully a platform to build on. Wins against Barnsley and Posh are absolutely vital and if we play like we did today, why not? Good to see the entire ground get behind the team today, great atmosphere which again proves we can create one.

Hard to remember a better team performance than that all season. Thought everyone put a shift in.

That has to be the starting 11 going forward from now on.
