Hugill pokes it on to Watters, who chests it into Ralls' path. The ball is hit sweetly on the volley and blazes narrowly past the post. That would have been some goal!

Hugill certainly looks that much better than anything else we've had up front this season. Promising start to his City career.

GRET! Whatever the result, this is our best 45mins football by a mile!! Players seem hungry and are running not jogging around! (So refreshing to have a proper midfield ( without Pack slowing everything down).
Ng Dramah and Doyle linking really well down the right. But Forest also very dangerous down their right side. But Doughty has been very doughty in trying to stop them

Great 1st half performance and deserve our lead.

Forest really struggling to break down our defence. Saying that they do look like they are missing something so lets hope they don't find it in the next 45 minutes. Hopefully we will get that second which we do look like getting.

Everyone putting a shift in and the only danger i see from Forest is that Johnson guy. If we can keep him shutout we will be ok.

Supebay performance 1st half let's keep this going

New signings looking decent fair play including Drameh now he’s settled. 1st half showed Cardiff of old, defend well and attack fast, not afraid to have a shot on goal either. Few moments where players been caught on their heels but that can be put down to lack of playing time together or confidence as our lads have had low confidence for a while now. Things are changing and hopefully this is an indicator of what’s to come and not just a one off

Good first half. Think we will need a second goal to get a win as Forest are notoriously a better send half side. Wonder if Doyle Hugill and Doughty will last the 90 minutes as they haven’t played much football this season. Think Morison will need to be good with his subs.
