VINCENT TAN / MEHMET DALMON WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

Postby Forever Blue » Sun Jan 23, 2022 2:04 pm

For fucks sake who is in control of our Club that means a lot to so many ?

As a fan of 50 years, like many others I would like to know what’s going on??

Vincent Tan ….. is 6000 miles away , has no time anyway and I believe is neither a football man or at least does not appreciate how things are done.

Our fans are hurting seeing our club suffering and not knowing what’s real going on??

Dolman seems to be in another world (in the main) where is he - Monaco or London ?
I thought Dalman was suppose to be running our football club?

Our CEO Ken Choo is in London ?

What is the plan ?

What is our target and direction ?

Do we have the budget and the people to execute it ?

Where are you and the other key people ?

By the way we have Liverpool on 6 Feb away ….. but the M. Isaac case is on 7th Feb and Tan is a main witness .

Tan is expected to be there in person ….. and I believe he would be. So is Dalman.

These guys will probably be there for Liverpool (I expect they want the prestige and I think Tan has now only watched us about 4 times in the last 5 years even though he is back and forth to London regularly)especially that we have a chance to win since Liverpool will field a greatly weakened side (probably). :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
:bluescarf:

They have been sort of in semi hiding ….. but this can not go on forever.

Yes legally and practically Tan can do what he likes and ….fair enough ….but in football it does not go this way at all .

Fans are the biggest stakeholder …yet they are half asleep and detached or are currying favor in order to have personal access to the hierarchy or get some personal benefits.

I get daily PM’s on Fb/ Twitter and on here, fans asking what are our boards plans for the future of Our Great Proud Club ???

At last someone prepared to ask the hierarchy what is happening to our club, we need to know :thumbright: :bluebird:

If Tan does not cut his ties and sell up now, his investment will be worthless in league one.

You've hit the nail on the head. The club that means so much to so many... Apart from these three clowns.

They are watching us capitulate with seemingly zero emotion.

FOREVER BLUE

Agree 100% i was trying to find thread i did recently about
time for tan to
bite the bullet
I also said on other thread NEXT SEASON that they will probably turn up at anfield in some heated directors box quite sickening to turn up for liverpool game
And as i mentioned on thread what a difference to norwichs delia smith sitting in the freezing cold with a norwich scarf around her neck away at watford thats what you want from a board member engaged with the fans and club.

In fairness a number on here have tried to do it, but there are those who will back him, for what im really not sure. He pays the bills. Granted, but 99% of other clubs owners do that.

If Tan wants a bigger return or a bigger sale value, then anyone can see that the way we are going our value is reducing week after week.

We need to get behind the team. Unfortunately that’s the most we can do. Ownership is way out of our hands we have zero control over it other than pissing them of or making them feel wanted.

I understand all the talk of a DOF, but with respect, our problems run a lot deeper than making such an appt.

A DOF when we still have an interfering board will be absolutely pointless.

Exactly how I see it, who exactly is trying to curry favours, and how would that work for normal fans? I have NEVER had any interest in even meeting an owner, let alone hang out with one, we have, and will have new owners at the club, its what happensThe part I dont like is being told what, and how I should feel towards them, I make my own mind up, and for me the constant barrage of abuse, and name calling of our current owner, serves no purpose whatsoever! Or do these posters think tan is going to read the forum, and think " oh they need me to leave, id better go" we have had very few owners down the years who have fraternised with the fans, except of course sam hammam, who did with a certain few,and it seems to me that because tan hasnt/wouldnt do that kind of thing, a few find it offensive, if thats the right word?I thought the plan was to make the club sustainable? Well throwing cash around hasnt worked in the past few yrs, and has left us, al ok ng wiyh covid, havinv to cut our cloth accordingly, so as NOT to end up like the derby's, readings, and a few others that have, or will come to light?
Ive noticed a turn of support for morison, even though 90% were more than happy at his appointment? What happened to the old days? When fans would do their utmost to get behind thecmanager and team, in times of trouble?? We have some fans who seem happy to support the club, but ONLY if results are favourable, some who seem intent on dividing fans, and others, who like myself, just support the team, and try to avoid the white noise of ownership and the likes!
Steve morison was left with a squad that was decimated, through choice, by mm, he was happy enough to take the job at the time, but as results fail to improve, has done what other managers like harris & warnock have done, and come out with " I need more players". The previous two, had been quoted saying they were"happy with the players I have" big squad, plenty of quality etc etc, only to turn, funnily enough when results started dipping!! The one I feel for is morison, as he hasnt said the same, regards quality & numbers, as he was left with a lopsided paceless one by McCarthy!! Now he has to admit he needs numbers ( but in truth he means quality imho, as senior players are in neutral gear!) And imho, he has every right to tell the truth, regards to McCarthy offloading the wrong players!! Leaving us with dead wood to clear( again!!We will have a new manager come end of season( possible before if results dont improve)and in truth, if there were funds foe any permanent sognings, I wouldnt give it to a man that wont be here, and the fact he could sign players any new manager may not even want/rate? Would you allow him to spend money on permanent signings knowing this?

I’ve always wondered if this forum has any impact on the way things are done at Cardiff. I’m sure they do read it but wonder what weight it carries as I imagine it’s just a tiny sample of supporters compared to the 000s that turn up every week. It’s an interesting one, not just for our forum but all clubs across the country. Do they have any impact other than a political soap box for different opinions.

The club has gone backwards on the pitch , debts and court cases .

Sala next

I really worry for our fans , I support my team no matter what , but do these type of owners care anything for our club.
We are now seriously in trouble

You two , same old two need to really realise our club is in serious trouble and all the OP is asking can we know what’s happening?
You not worried or you don’t care

I saw you blaming fans for staying Blue that we are now in trouble, I hope you are not that serious and mad to think that?

I’ve been worried for the club most of my life except between 2010 till roughly 19.
But like I said in previous post league one football I find to be a much more enjoyable experience if we there I don’t see the club going under. And will probably run itself if that’s the case I’m happy with that. Also I’d be happy to pay the same ticket price as we do currently for what I see as an enhanced football experience. However I think we stay up and I’m fully behind the club as a a whole.

Will be interesting to see Issaccs testimony on the witness stand.

His solicitor quoted

He says Isaac hopes to "air his grievances" regarding the running of the Championship club at a trial

Wow

Agree in the main with the OP.
The club really need to make a statement to us fans.

Dalman seems a waste of space but I have no problem with Tan not attending games.
Many and most owners who live abroad rarely attend games.
When was the last time Spurs (as I’m watching their game now) owner attended a match for example?

And I have no problem with Ken Choo living in London. He attends all home and away games so what’s the point of him sitting in his office at an empty stadium here all week?
No difference to sitting in an office in London.
And yes he’s involved in other businesses also.

But we really need a bit more direction and communication form the owner.

Unfortunately Annis you hit the nail on the head .tan owns the club he can do what he wants. He appointed dalman and Choo seen by many as incompatant but his choice.

For me tan his stubborn I think he just throws money at every situation and 9/10 it back fires if we spent wisely when we got promoted instead of wasting money etc and for me if we had someone with a football brain on board to say we need to do this we need to do that etc who knows where we might be,I understand tan doesn’t want to splash the cash now but for me he can’t just say right play the under 23’s etc and just hope their good enough most of them ain’t good enough either

A DOF when we still have an interfering board will be absolutely pointless.

Hang on? Do we have a board that have show interest or an interfering board?

Both can’t be true?
