The cross was over Hudson, and Matthews played Scotland on. If he'd stayed in line with Gyepes and Hudson there wouldn't have been a problem. Matthews fault. Nothing the other 2 could have done.
And why do you just accpet that Ipswich can get easy crosses inlike that ?

We'll lose today, no suprise.
Oli and Bellamy back next week and we'll take it out on Millwall.

The Douce wrote:darcy was not on scotland as he was not playing that deep, often whickam went out wide and it was naylor who picked him up. im telling you scotland was hudson's man, and he left him wander, yes mathews should have kept the line but to rely on linesman to stop them scoring is a pretty poor excuse and he should have been covered just incase

The stram was poor but I can't see why you could think this was the case.
Even Perry said that Scotland was being picked up by Blake - for hudson to have been his marker he would have had to play ost of the game in the centre circle Scotland was so deep.
Centre halfs play 1-mark (Gyepes), 1-float (Hudson).
