Question re Moore (Hypothetical)

Postby bluebirdoct1962 » Tue Jan 18, 2022 1:03 am

If we brought in Doyle on loan and bought say, Clarke-Harris but sold Moore. Who thinks that would be good window for us?
I think it would, all things considered.

I'd rather keep Moore, mate, as I believe he is better than those around have made him look this season; but I can see where you are coming from and it would have to considered a good window

Can I answer for Barclay?

Nope, whatever happens this window quite clearly it will be the worst transfer window ever thanks to our disinterested owner. We are definitely going down and it’s all Tan’s fault.

Lets be honest.
What player in that team
Would get into the top 6 championship sides??

We have a league 1 side, no quality
It takes a lot of bad decisions to get to where we are these days.

Cant blame players, their at their limit.

Harris, bagan, collins, pack, vaulks, nelson, colwill. All at their limit, div 1. Morrison gone, Moore deceiving. Bacuna- say no more... All trying but no quality...
Morison can try his best but can
Only work with the players we have.

We need another quality defender, midfielder, attacker this window or it looks highly likely we will go down.

When we got promoted we didn’t have many stars. Was about the team. Always has been lately for Cardiff.

Spot on :thumbright: Morrison at the time, Manga and, maybe, Bennett were the only ones that even other top Championship teams would have been interested in.

Organisation and desire much more important at Championship level.

I always said that if Warnock had spent £6m on a decent centre forward rather than Gary Madine we would have walked that Championship.

Agree. Desire is massive.
Can make a team tuned.
Togetherness and support are huge.
But its about scoring goals and tgen not letting them in.
And there lies the quality issues.
We have plenty of opportunities to do the both but that bit extra is missing.

Bust a gut,
Practice
Be strong
Dont switch off
Pace
Plan A and B
Execute
