Cardiff City's defensive record has been a major concern

Mon Jan 17, 2022 1:10 pm

Cardiff City's defensive record has been a major and ongoing concern throughout the campaign.

The Bluebirds have shipped 44 goals in their 25 games this term, far too many for a team with so many experienced professionals in it. Only Reading (45) and Peterborough (48), the two teams immediately below Cardiff, have worse defences.

Terrible campaign they are having and are perhaps the main reason we are where we are.

Even with 5 at the back they can't stop the goals. Thank Mick Mccarthy for that. I just don't know where we go from here.

Whilst they have been very poor as a unit, it can't help having a midfield who can't keep hold of the ball in front of you...
