‘ Wayne Rooney ? ‘

Postby Forever Blue » Mon Jan 17, 2022 6:52 am

Derby County boss Wayne Rooney is reportedly among the early contenders to replace Rafa Benitez at Everton.

Rooney has done an amazing job so far with Derby County after their 21 pts deduction, but was more than upset that he had to let two of his best players go on the weekend.

Everton - lock up your Grannies if he gets that job.

If he does go - Derby are surely out of business. No player wants to play for them. All the players they have got will want out asap. There was talk of them being thrown out of the league. And we thought we had money management problems....

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow :bluescarf:

But it would be a shame to see one of the founding members of the football league go out of business :old:

Like you, I don't think anyone/many would want that; but they do need to be taken to task for Mel Morris' actions

We reported on here a couple of seasons ago that Derby were throwing the kitchen sink in a last ditch effort at promotion and that failure to achieve would see them in serious fimancial trouble which is how it has turned out

Rooney has done a very good job under the circumstances and he may well move on to an even bigger club eventually
