One of the most baffling ever signings and Wintle has shone for Blackpool in the Championship and they are gutted to
Lose him :thumbright:

Steve Morison has today recalled Ryan Wintle from his season-long loan with Blackpool.

Ryan will return to the Vale this week to link back up with the Bluebirds squad, having made 18 league appearances for the Seasiders during the first half of this campaign.

Welcome back to South Wales Ryan, we look forward to seeing you.

Should never have happened in the first place:

Confirmed: Cardiff City recall Ryan Wintle from Blackpool. Good move IMO. Midfield needs bolstering in back half of the season and he has been brilliant for Blackpool

I don't even pretend to understand what happens at our club but my guess is Wintle was a recruitment dept (the new team) acquisition and the dinosaur manager didn't think he needed another DCM as we had Pack and Vaulks and he was never going to plan for the future.

This is the problem with our management structure, if we have a recruitment team and the manager is not on board then he has final say. We need a DoF who recruits the first team coach. If the first team coach believes Pack is better than Wintle then at least Wintle is in the first team squad and can take his chance when it arrives.

I just hope he is better than Pack as Marlon is looking slower game on game and Ralls is by far more effective as the top of the double pivot
