Any avid groundhoppers here?
Which ground have you never been to which youve now missed your chance on?
I missed out on Highbury and Upton Park which I'll always be gutted about.
My Mrs has also visited Maine Road but I never got the chance to go

Done all those but not Old Trafford
I would add Anfield; but only as a Bluebird, as I was there for
that infamous Wales game on a school trip

Would have loved to have done The Valley Ground back in the day when it held millions

the valley ground was huge especially the 1 side of the ground remember that one from the first game of the 1983 season . lost 2 nil
in its heyday capacity was 75,000 !

Missed Highbury but loved Upton park, Maine road, bootham crescent and oddly eastville. Saltergate was a really oddity as well. I'm trying to do all 92 and am at 52. With all the moves, relegations from the league I'd be about 15 better off

Done all of the above grounds plus many more and got some great memories from most of them, i am a member of the(football ground map i go by the name of blu3t3rry) along with many 1000s i am currently the no 1 cardiff city fan in the f g m with 560 grounds visited to my name (all live games ) just yesterday i was at worthing fc watching them beat horsham 3-1
Its a great thing to get into going to new towns finding some great bars and meeting some intresting people from the past and present
i have been doing this ground hopping thing for many years now and i always bump into many ccfc & wales fans doing the same thing
This does not mean that i have given up on the city far from it but if i have the choice to travel to blackburnn rovers again or winchester town a new ground for me the new place will win every time
I have done the 92 clubs in the past but with so many clubs going into new grounds its hard to keep up with i am on 90 now with spurs and brentford with new grounds to do at the mo i know there will be new ones to come
Anyway good ground hopping to everyone that is all ready at it and to all the new comers that want to have a go at it

560 grounds is a huge number ticked off - very jealous!
I'm looking to get Yate and Street ticked off in the next month hopefully if games aren't called off due to Covid

Done all the old grounds except Roker Park.. completed the 92 in 2013 at Man City .. brilliant going to grounds like Dagenham, Stevenage etc and mingling and chatting to the locals and not getting hassled by the plod.

As a referee, I did, the dell, Upton Park, Stamford Bridge, Reading Old ground, St Andrews, Oxford, yovil, 2 Bristol, Cheltenham, but the biggest dump of a ground was the vetch field, I have seen better parks grounds facilities better than that

Nene Park, Rushden, Sealand Road Chester and the old Scunthorpe ground. Only saw Maidstone playing in Dartford, not sue where they were before that and the time I went to Roker Park was not to see the city. Always counted myself lucky to get to Highfield Road. We never seemed to play Coventry, then we drew them in the cup, a further months later in the league and shortly after that they moved. Can only recall seeing Cardiff once at the Baseball ground. The best old school ground for me was the Victoria Ground Stoke before they developed the away end. Bristol Rovers at Eastville was a bit of an enigma, crap ground, always a pretty limited attendance but a fantastic atmosphere none the less.
Loads of new grounds still to do. Scunthorpe was the first new ground in 30 + years. How many have there been in the 30 years since. Never been to the Liberty, strange that I doubt I missed a game the Vetch.

Did both Friday night away games at Colchester United Layer Rd and Northampton Town at the cricket ground odd three sided ground. Also Wigan at Springfield park 1989 was memorable.

Absolutely brilliant not having to look over your shoulder every 5 mins to see if any hassle is coming your way so you can just get on with enjoying your day out in another town
keep on enjoying it all mate and good luck with all your future trips
