PUNDIT: BLUEBIRDS 'BACKED' FOR BAGGIES RESULT

Bluebirds backed for Baggies result
By Tom Coleman

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has backed Cardiff City to earn a point at high-flying West Brom at the Hawthorns.

Cardiff come into this clash on the back of a bruising 3-0 defeat at the hands of league leaders Bournemouth on Thursday, and have won just once in their last five league outings.

However, Prutton believes Cardiff can pick up at least a point against the Baggies.

Not for the first time this term, West Brom are stuttering," he wrote in his recent Sky Sports column. They were unbeaten in the first 10 games of the season, but have really struggled to build momentum since and have also found goals hard to come by.

Valerien Ismael may take positives from the fact his men are not conceding too many either, but with Blackburn on a hot streak, they need to buck their ideas up.

“Cardiff are still some way from climbing further away from the bottom three, though under Steve Morison, they have looked a little more comfortable on the road than at home recently. I think they could get something from this.
"

"1-1."

Maybe just the first half (or 44 mins) until Kamikaze Leandro spoiled the night? :?

Until then, unlucky goal apart, we had the better chances and their keeper was worked harder than ours ;)

Probably not but quite often, a poor result means a big effort from that team in their next game.

I think the last three performances were ok. Two of course were impacted by the sendings off.

A bit unlucky with the goal we conceded against Bournemouth and until the sending off we created chances and limited Bournemouth.

There is only so long though that we can point to improved performances if they don't translate into points.

Big test today.

I'd take a draw.

Maybe he did and thats maybe why he said a draw. That’s why he’s being paid as a pundit and you aren’t. (That I am aware of)
