NOT ONE NEW ACADEMY PLAYER STARTS TONIGHT FOR STEVE MORISON / IT HAD BEEN ONE, NOW NONE:

As Morison has stated its a big step for many of them, yet most are now 19,20,21 yrs old.

It tells me that most are not Championship standard.

Morison actually does think these kids are not ready or not good enough.

Only a couple are and thats the truth, reality, despite Dalman telling Media Wales to say they are ALL stars.

Yes.

We are virtually injury free, so this is our best team. :bluebird:

I can only assume that the effect of covid on some players as influenced this team. Wouldn't have predicted this team but fingers crossed they'll start well and battle like previous games

Strong looking bench but Bacuna!
Rather Colwill or Pack..and agree about the academy ...seems a step too far for most of them

Really? I'd have guessed 10 of them. Pack for Bacuna the only one wrong. Its hardly left field.

Not one of the super kids starting, he must not really rate them????

Our best team starts as no injuries.

Apart from Phillips and Pack for Smithies and Bacuna, this is our best team.

Tall order to get a result tonight though.

We are facing top of the league away, so maybe he's going for experience over youth, especially with the upheval of the last few weeks.

Colwill and Davies are two good players to come through, they will be regulars over the next few years. One or two more and that's a decent haul. :ayatollah:

Most are not quite ready yet. Need to be eased into the team when they are ready. This may take a while. We know that Colwill and Davies have what it takes as regards talent and ability. Harris too has made a good contribution and it's a shame that injury has halted Sam Bowen's progress. Same too for Kieron Evans who has a bit of star quality. And the best of all is Cian Ashford who has only just turned 17. There are others too. Personally I think that's an incredible crop on the verge of breaking through and a lot to be optimistic about.

Morison has been honest from day one and said he needs experience players to get out of this mess.

We have 2 or 3 max that are good enough to be really be quality Championship players, not 10 like the Committee demanded just because they were cheap.

We are in trouble because not enough quality.

I believe Steve Morison, is a honest and eventually will become a very good manager :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Yes I agree about the ones you named above, they need time.

I am on about Brown, Sang, Bagan etc they should of made it by now.

I am still very suspect about Mark Harris???????

Harris is our Academy player and Colwill and Davies will probably come on as substitutes.McGuinness and Giles are youngsters. It’s our Senior players who have let us down this season not the youngsters!

Yes, I'm still 50:50 on Sparky. Sometimes he can look really good but perhaps doesn't do it often enough

Three managers were not keen and once again not a 90 min player , time for him to move in this Summer.
