Making his league debut this weekend

Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:08 pm

6 year old Thomas Chopra Hughes will make his league debut for Andover FC under 7s away to Basingstoke on Sunday.

Cant wait. Love watching him train with his mates. He wears his ccfc shirts and the coaches have nicknamed him Chopra. All his mates wear utd, scouse, chelsea etc...None of them have been to a game yet Tommy has seen his team play well over 50 times including twice at wembley.

The only draw back is that the game is non-competitive! What a load of left wing pc shit. He will walk off that pitch knowing who has scored what.

There is nothing more nervewracking than a father watching his son play his first game.
Whether he is good, bad or indifferent, the sense of pride at the end of the game that he has done his best is brilliant.
Best of luck young man.

All the best for his debut. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I really dont understand all this non-competitive sport that they do in schools and stuff now.

How are we supposed as a country to ever teach kids to be winners?
