Cardiff return to training

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=225375

Cardiff City returned to training on Monday in the hope that Thursday's clash with Bournemouth will go ahead.

The Bluebirds' previous two fixtures against Coventry City and Derby County were postponed owing to a Covid-19 outbreak within the Welsh club's camp.

In a positive news bulletin, though, Cardiff returned to training on Monday morning and plan for the Bournemouth match to go ahead, as things stand.

The training ground was closed for the players last week as the club tried to overcome the outbreak in a bid to ensure no more fixtures were backlogged.

As for Thursday's opponents, the Cherries face QPR in London on Monday evening and, providing they get through that fixture unscathed, there is hope that the Bluebirds' clash on the south coast will go ahead on Thursday.

Steve Morison will also give his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
