FRIDAY 17th SEPTEMBER UPDATE

Chris Riggott has agreed the terms of the contract on offer and has passed the medical that City put him through but as yet the relevant paperwork has not been signed but will be signed off over the weekend. Riggott will sign a one year contract with the possibilty of another year depending on certain factors.

Regarding injuries Olifinjana will be missing from the line up tomorrow as well as Danny Drinkwater, there will be a fitness test tomorrow morning on Bothroyd, he travelled with squad. Danny Drinkwater went back to Man Utd in the week to be assessed on his injury and he has now been told he can continue his treatment at Cardiff City.

Despite the injuries to key players at present DJ is happy with the squad that he has assembled so far but he already has a list ready for the January sales, unless there are any long term injuries then DJ will not be attempting to bring in any more players between now and January.

Peter Ridsdale and TG came to an agreement this week and they settled on a figure of £450k. Ridsdale has been paid half of the money and will be paid the rest in the middle of October. Gareth Davies and Alan Flintcroft have so far yet to receive their settlements.

850 Tickets have been sold for tomorrow's game at Ipswich.

Excelent support for the 2nd away match in the space of 5 days. Especialy as Portman Road is not a new ground and the distance.
