Foreign Managers

Is it just me but i am fed up of foreign managers complaining about the amount of games that are played over the xmas and new year period
It has always been that way and it is what the fans want as crowds usually show over the period Stop complaining about it Usually it is from those managers in the top division with the largest squads If you don’t like it go back to the leagues you think do it so much better

I agree 100% and the same to the players, if you want a winter break go and play in an European league where they have 1

I agree with them.

I'd play the FA cup on Jan 1st then have two weeks off. Halfway point, two weeks of the transfer window, bloody cold and dark.

The big boys would jump on a plane and tour the middle east or Asia though

If they are such genius managers, couldn't they just sit instead of geggenpress the life out of the players? Its only 2 matches to work out. What's the point of a £1billion pound squad if you can't work it out Pep?

They have massive squads, play fewer league games than in the top division than in the old days, can use three substitutes - five last season- don't even have extra time, let alone replays in some competitions and can play weakened sides without fear of being fined as they used to be. The only additional strain on them is extra games in Europe for which they are massively rewarded.
When i first started watching they would play on Boxing day and the reverse fixture was the following day
