£1700 on the lottery.. 5 no’s. Once did a days work for 3k where the company said come in for that day only, but I was paid for the whole month.

When i was a paperboy, the newsagent kesh fixed the competition for me to win a stuffed bunny rabbit. It's still in the family was given to my daughters

Won an all expenses included day out for 2 at our 2008 FA Cup Final - tickets near the half way line, in the lower tier.
Entered a simple answer competition with National Express for the sake of it knowing there was no chance of winning, but after queueing all Sunday morning to secure 2 tickets for me and my daughter, I had a phone call from National Express on the Tuesday morning to inform I had won (needed a call back to confirm it wasn't a scam).
Travelled up on a special Cardiff City sprayed coach with special guests including Brian Clark. Another winner's prize was to deliver a match ball ( in a plastic case) to the referee.
What a day it was - except if only.......
Entered a simple answer competition with National Express for the sake of it knowing there was no chance of winning, but after queueing all Sunday morning to secure 2 tickets for me and my daughter, I had a phone call from National Express on the Tuesday morning to inform I had won (needed a call back to confirm it wasn't a scam).

Far more valuable than money Chris,my mrs did win a prize with reebock many moons ago( 97 if memory serves me right) when she bought a pair of "weebocks" for our little nephews birthday, the woman asked her to fill the competition form, my wife declined at 1st, then relented, a couple of months went by, and she got a call;saying she had won 1st prize!! Two weeks in lanzarote for 2, all inclusive with £500 spending money theown in!
What made it more memorable was when we were there, frank bruno was there in training for his shot at the title, met him and his trainers, who were really good peopke tbf! Still got a glove signed by frank!! Happy days.

Being picked out in a lottery on my ship, whilst on Tour within the Royal Yacht Britannia flotilla as part of a Boarding party in Honiara, Soloman Islands in the 1980's.
Walking along the line of the boarding party Her Majesty asked me "how long I had been serving" or something like that, I think I mumbled something like "5 years Ma'am".
Then later that same year whilst I was in Cooks/chefs College in Liverpool, as a class we had the honour to Cook her Majesty Luncheon on a visit to the college.
Those memories are priceless.
Next best thing - being a recovering Gambling Addict.

I think I entered that. I drew a picture of Bobby Charlton (but used tracing paper). It was a remarkable likeness.

Norton’s Coin in Gold cup 20 each way winner at 100/1 also our kitty bet was on the same horse at £10 each way and had quieter share
