A source of huge anger for a large portion of Cardiff City fans at the beginning of this current season.

Bacuna had been played everywhere except for his actual position in the last two years, having been made to fill in at right back the previous season and then McCarthy playing him on the wing.

Give the guy a chance and play him in his actual position! For what it's worth, I think he actually offers something as a central midfield player. He is quick, strong, and can carry the ball well when he gets going.

But his productivity in the final third is not reflective of a winger or second striker or playmaker. His shooting, crossing, deftness of touch just isn't at the standard required.

But, for whatever reason, McCarthy saw it differently and persisted with Bacuna out on the wing, often meaning the likes of Rubin Colwill or even Mark Harris were missing out, genuine attackers who could impact the game in the final third.

It's not the player's fault, of course, it was in fact unfair on him, if anything. He could do a job as a central midfielder.

But that period at the beginning of the campaign when Bacuna was constantly being played in the final third really was a head-in-hands moment for City fans.

Should play in Packs position imo.

He has played plenty of games for us at CM. he has the odd good game but he can't pass and is very inconsistent.

Nubbsy - as is often the case you are wrong. He has certainly not played many games in central midfield. Perhaps you need to be more alert before you criticise Bacuna.Your verbal support Would I am sure help him.

I'm sorry but he's one of our highest payed players and if he plays in his favourite position or not he's not justifying his wages. He looks lost on the field regardless of where he plays. His reading of the game is atrocious and he looks disinterested.
We have all had to adapt in our own workplace at some stage why should people earning more than Most of us ever dream of have an excuse to be dogshit.

Quicker he leaves the better and good riddance when he does. Absolutely detest the player. Has done nothing for us in all his time at the club.

I seem to recall for a couple of months the Ba-cuna chant, so he hasn't always been shit

This is indicarive of whyvwe are where we are.
A very poor player.
A high wage earner.
A Hopless role model for our youngsters.

Is a pissed up fan dance fun song.
It was sung tongue in cheek most times
But In support of the player as hes wearing one of our shirts...
