25% of EFL Players refuse to be vaccinated:

Thu Dec 23, 2021 8:05 am

The English Football League says a quarter of players at its member clubs "do not intend to get a vaccine" against Covid-19.

And as of last month 31% of players had not received a first dose.

The EFL revealed the figures as it introduced tighter protocols at first-team training grounds and enforced more regular testing.

It comes as 19 fixtures that were due to be played across all three divisions on Saturday have been postponed.

Updated guidance on the minimum number of available players required to fulfil a fixture has also been passed on.

Clubs will be expected to play a fixture where they have 14 players, including a goalkeeper, available from their registered squad list.

Vaccine data collected by the EFL in November showed 75% of players were either fully vaccinated, had had a single jab or intended to be vaccinated.

Double-vaccinated players totalled 59%, with 10% having had a single dose at the time, while 6% were set to get a first jab.

However, 25% of players said they "currently do not intend to get a vaccine".

Unvaccinated players deemed a close contact of someone who has tested positive for coronavirus must self-isolate for 10 days under the legal requirements set out by the UK government.

I wonder how many City players who had covid recently were unvaccinated or were maybe the ones who brought it in to the training camp
If it was the unvaccinated i would totally be pissed off as they would have caused me to miss the boxing day game which is a game that all my family attend as a tradition going back 40 years and more
Should do as they do in NBA if you are not vaccinated you can’t play

Whay rubbish!! Where does it stop?
Im pissed off with people saying unvaccinated should be punished! F@ck the nba whatever that is, its not up to ANYONE else bar the INDIVIDUAL, IT F@cks me off that the vaccinated seem to think they are the superior beings in this shit show of judgemental times!!
Ive heard the 1st 2 to come down with it were training staff who had had both jabs, but we will never know! Fancy trying to blame people you know nothing of, for missing boxing day game? Its been traditionally my best game, as its christmas the day before, and my birthday the day after, but am I moaning? No, it is what it is, you do realise that our opposition also had cases yeah? Maybe it was their unvaccinated too eh!
Its not a legal requirement, nor os it mandatory, people have a choice, and this variant is spread by ALL, Vaxxed and non vaxxed? So perhaps it was a vaxxed person who brought it to camp? Oh no! That cant be true, youd have nobody to have a go at then eh?
I cant be jabbed, so maybe its my fault, i should lock myself away from everybody, as im a risk to public health now?

MERRY CHRISTMAS.
