Re the comments about the Conservative party. It doesn’t help that we have a centre right in terms of political ideology Conservative party. I’m not referring to their behaviour. Just policies and mindset.


But the opposition is socialist. That’s much further left of Centre than the conservatives are right of it.

That means to vast swathes of the population we have an opposition that can not be given their vote. So the Conservative party effectively do what they like uk level.

Are you sure about that? Was it previously a criminal offence as it has now become? Were fines payable for breaches?

If you could remind me where these rules were introduced in the previous lockdown I would be grateful. Not the WFH guidelines but the failure to comply being a criminal offence and the fines for individuals and companies.

Can't be bothered to look it up as to when this was originally imposed but as an essential worker I was given a letter from my employer to produce to police if stopped to prove my "essential/key worker" status to avoid fine back in March 2020.
