Probably would have been doing that for us in the current regime - but we'll never know!

I agree, with the way we play now, I believe he would be doing fine here! McCarthy blew him out earl imho, should have realised then, what style we were adopting under him!! Hoofball mk3!

Strikers have struggled at this club to score goals big time since Dave Jones left. Glatzel may have done alright at the moment, but who knows? He's probably found his level in the German 2nd league.

Typical McCarthy, the guy could play he just wasn't a target man. Certainly would fit into this current style of play better than Collins and you only have to look at the goals he scored for us and Hamburg to see that he knows how to finish with the right service.

Everyone could see he had good touch he just wasn't the battering ram that Warnock, Harris and McCarthy based their style on.

My point exactly, and bar one or two clubs, the football in Bundesliga is better than championship even in 2nd division.

Warnock tried to change his style of play completely, and it didnt work! Although have to give him credit ( glatzel) he still managed to bag a few goals, more than murphy in fact, and now he is in a side that plays football, not hoofball @n he os doing fine.He even played his part in helping mainz survive the drop whilst on loan there, when at one point they were 5pts from safety.
I do agree, he would be doing fine if still here now, getting better service.
