Wayne Rooney has a lot on his plate as it is, dealing with 21 points being docked from the club’s total in his first job in management and it looks like it will get even tougher before Derby can turn a corner.
Rooney outlined the lack of control he is set to have over transfers when he spoke.

“I could potentially lose players in January.”
“Not through having to sell them, the administrators tell me that, but they could go and sign for teams abroad. Once that happens it is out of your control.”
“players will want to know their where their future lies in January?.”
“I am not allowed to buy players or bring any in on loan.”
“I want someone I really can ask the question to – can I give this player a new contract? Can I bring this player in? Really, I have got no-one I can go to.”
The Rams are currently 17 points from safety with 24 games remaining this season as they prepare for setbacks on and off the pitch.
