Ralls is one player I would keep, very consistent and even Steve Morison making Ralls Captain

No he is not worth £millions are any of our players other than Kieffer Moore?

I can't see any Championship club paying Cardiff a couple of million in January for Ralls.

I would like to see him stay with a new contract, but in these financially straightened times which club will pay out for a 28 year old in a misfiring midfield which lacks pace or positional sense, when his contract will be up in five months?

Any multi-million pound fees in January will be rare and will go on goal scorers only.

I agree. I’d be tempted to keep Flint too as long as financial demands are lowered. I’m basing this on the gap they’d leave in the team.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see them all released mins.

agree mate - not ever been a big fan of his but have to admit with the squad we have now we have a better balanced midfield with him in and he seems to like the captain's role. Guess it all comes down to numbers

Put it this way. With the exception of our premier league dalliances we have not found anyone better than joe. He’s 100% effort and we look a better side with him in it as has been seen lately. The players we
Had that were better than him were either loaned or a fluke buy.

We have to keep him because we have shown we can’t easily get better than him.

He should be our baseline. Keep joe and anyone coming in should be as good or better. Replacing joe would cost more than keeping him imho.

Agree. Him staying with Wintle coming back would actually improve our midfield imo even if Vaulks and Pack left. Potential injuries would be a problem that we’d need to cover though.

I don't have an issue with Joe Ralls getting another contract but at a reduced wage.

He's currently on £25k a week and, frankly, he ain't worth that no matter how much you like him especially when you know that Moore is on half that.

There is a group of players that are still on Prem wages and Ralls is one of them. Smithies, Morrison, Bacuna, Murphy all earning big money that won't be repeated if/when new contracts are discussed.
