Really enjoyed that interview :thumbright: :bluebird:

Another great player and loved by Cardiff City fans, Graham Kavanagh :bluebird:

Every player I chat to, now at least 14 ex City players virtually all day the same about Sam Hammam :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Graham Kavanagh last month said this:

Annis how are you pal, long time since we have interacted but I hope you’re well pal

“Yes I got on great with Sam as did all the players.”

“Sam made everyone feel inclusive and that meant even the players that weren’t playing were all pulling in the same direction.”

“ Hard to make that happen without a talented group that Sam put together, but Sam knew what he was doing and in my opinion was a very clever and shrewd man.”

"The reason, I, and so many others signed for the club". Says it all really.

All players have nothing but good things to say about SH. "He took them to another level" Again, says it all. The engagement he must have had with the players and the club meant that even though there are those who say he almost took us down, the players at the time STILL speak about him with affection.

Its fact, it's been said by a player himself. He loved everything about the club.

It's the BIG BIG question. One which nobody will agree on. I for one would rather an owner in the SH mould. I'm not opening a can of worms here, so I'll simply accept there are those that wouldn't.

Don’t know whether it’s true but I heard stories about Sam going to reserve & youth training and challenging players to a penalty competition, him v them, best of 3 for £50. Invariably he lost every time

Andrew,
Sam attended from U9’s right up to the first team games and I would travel away with him to watch our U18’s in midweek games.
He did do these games and many more laughs with him, all the players right through all the ages loved him and his jokes.
Moral was amazing :bluebird: :bluebird:

The Accademy was SAM’S baby and he gave it 24/7 :bluebird: :bluebird:

Annis, I believe Everyone has their faults but there’s no doubting that Sam breathed fire into our club when it was literally out on its feet and as a loyal fan, as you are mate, I will always be grateful to him for that. Mad days :laughing5:

Chopra was giving a sign on fee from Sam but Ridsdale didnt want too why as Ridsdale would have out it in his back pocket as he did with a lot of our money bloody Ridsdale should never be close to a football club.
