7 games in- how have you assessed things?

It has been good so far. We are trying lots of new things and the squad have taken it on board. You can see that by their attitude and performances. We have changed training and are training in a slightly different way. We train as we play so what we do on the training ground has to reflect what we do on a matchday. We are trying to get them to believe in what we are asking them to do. It’s about being consistent with the message. If you change things you start to lose their trust.

I believe in it, the staff believe in it and it is our job to make the players believe in it. That’s why we have to be consistent with our message.

I'm happy with Morison so far. It's a big job but he's changing the way we play, we hold onto the ball better and move it more quickly around the park. We're a much better team to watch than we were under McCarthy and when we go a goal behind I've much more confidence than I did before that we will get something out of the game.
I do worry that if we lost Colwill and Isaak Davies we'd have very little creativity in the team. I'd like to see a place for Kieron Evans in the team as well, but in a more central area where he can affect the game more. I also think that when Bowen returns from injury he offers more than Pack and Vaulks.
I also like that Morison is prepared to change tactics and shape to try and win the game. He can't do much about individual errors but it's those which are costing us at the moment.
