It's a sorry state of affairs for the Bluebirds, languishing at the wrong end of the table.

Defeat to Sheffield United last time out was no embarrassment, such are the Blades' resources, but with Birmingham and Derby next up, Morison will be hoping to put some daylight between themselves and the bottom three.

It's Coventry City, Bournemouth and West Brom shortly afterwards.

It's imperative points are picked up soon - this squad is way too good to be where it is right now.

Bizarrely, it is the Bluebirds' home form that is the problem.

Cardiff City Stadium is normally such a fortress. Yet this season they have lost eight out of 11 home games, compared to only four losses on the road.

It's easy to see how Cardiff can turn around their current travails. They just have to start doing it.
