“ Surely Cardiff City will bring him back? “

My View:

We signed Wintle, never gave him a chance, sent him to a club who will be battling with us at the bottom of the Championship and his outstanding displays are surely needed at Cardiff???

Ryan Wintle has now played 14 times this season in the Championship for Blackpool and been outstanding.

Ryan Wintle's man-of-the-match display and what will happen this coming January?

Cardiff's on-loan midfielder Ryan Wintle put in a man-of-the-match performance against Luton at the weekend for Blackpool.

His temporary side Blackpool went down 3-0 at home to the Hatters but Wintle was the pick of the bunch according to the local press.

"Took his game to another level in the first-half, but a little quieter in the second," reported the Blackpool Gazette.

"Denied by a wonder save from long range," they added, before awarding the 24-year-old a seven out of 10 mark, the highest of all the Tangerine players alongside Marvin Ekpiteta.

Wintle has so far this season been outstanding for the cash strapped seaside club and his performances have made him the fans favourite.

Wintle has continually had praise from the local media and the Blackpool management.

Welsh club Cardiff City had to cut their budget and Wintle Was sent on loan to Blackpool who are sharing his wage with the Welsh club.

He is in a season long loan and many of the Tangerine army fear that he might be called back to Cardiff this January and are worried as Wintle’s battling displays have helped keep them out of the relegation spots.

Can’t believe we are paying half his wages anyway, what an absolute joke. He’s been their star man many times u hear.
Not like we need a combative midfielder now is it? :banghead:

If what they are saying about no more new signings is true he's almost certain to come back, I think he will be straight in the team, sounds like he will give his all and will be Morison type player !

Sell him. We need a creative midfielder. Would he bring anything different to Vaults and Ralls.

I disagree.

OK, we do need a creative midfield player but we also need a mobile defensive midfield player who can press and close down the opposition. Neither Ralls, Vaulks or Pack can do that. They stand off and allow too much time to the opposition which is why the opposition have been able to get so many shots on goal from outside the box against us, e.g. the first one on Saturday.

It's about balance in midfield and at the moment our midfielders all play in a very similar way and we have to be less passive in there.

He's a northern boy and likes gravy on his chips .

He doesn't rate Barry Island and feels Blackpool is superior in many ways.

He signed for us and we decided he had to go to save money.

He only went there because we sent him there.
