A few people I have spoken to seem to believe that we could have won on Saturday, if only Morrison had stayed on the pitch. But we could just as easily have been four or five goals down before half time, as Sheffield showed how easy it was to by-pass our static defenders, with a string of through-ball passes, and after the break, they went on to show just how easy it is to score against us.


It does make you wonder what Mark Hudson is saying to them in training. I know he's not been in post for long, but so far this season, we've kept just one clean sheet, and that's why we're not winning games.


McGuinness looks a great signing, but Nelson (who used to be quick) looks panicky and error-prone. Flint is a good all-round defender but has no pace, while Morrison looks as though his legs have gone. We need to make changes, because our defence is costing us games.

Hudson should be looking to bring in someone else, before it's too late.

We didn't look at our best for sure, but I thought we looked a lot worse in defence when Morrison got sent off and Flint came back in and we conceded easily.

It's a worry having Flint back in for the next three for me, lets see if they can sort this leaky defence out???

No defence in the world look good with our midfield infront of them.

Don't get me wrong SM has looked off the pace but if you put Bamba next to him, Gunnerson, Bryson and Patererson infront of them he would look solid again.

Need to look at the full picture and it's about the balance across 1 to 11. Pack isn't good enough full stop and playing in a 2 makes it even worse

A lot of truth in that, a solid defensive midfielder like Gunner would make a massive difference !

Felt we looked good to get a 2nd goal before the red card. Road out luck in first 25 mins for sure though

Guns, Bryson, and Manga were extremely competent and made very few errors. When Ralls became our best midfielder, much had been lost.
