Scoring in the first half not all it's cracked up to be

Thought he was excellent when he came on - Flint

Don't see how anyone else other than Smithies gets a vote. Not saying others were bad but we would have been 5-0 down at half time if not for Smithies,and he carried on the same in the second half with a few more excellent saves including that one that he dived backwards and clawed the ball back into play just as it seemed to be crossing the line for a fourth goal.

Smithies for me he had a really good game.

Smithies not only saved City from at least another 3 goals, he helped our woeful defence by making full use of his penalty area to stop a number of Sheffield United's break away attacks.

Our keeper is in the lead

I just hope we can negotiate a new contract for Smithies, as he is one we need to keep
