So, I noticed our visit has already been announced on this board. Fun!
We're trying to do the 92, but as we're living in the Netherlands, it's merely an excuse to get some a couple of great weekends abroad every year.
And yes, it'l be our first visit to Cardiff and it would be fun to meet some Cardiff fans and have a few beers. So, which place would you recommend?
hope to see some of you on the 7th!
Gert

Make your way to the Ninian Park pub and introduce yourself. This is our preferred pub meeting before any game. Rested assured you will get a warm welcome from us, take no notice of some of the crap that is floating on the internet regarding us.
Sun Oct 24, 2010 11:17 am
be great to see you guys over and enjoy your stay in Wales, as mentioned the Ninian Park pub 5 minutes from the ground is where a lot of members on the messageboard drink prior to the game

or alternatively in the city centre the prince of wales pub near the train station has lots of good beers and cheap prices and is popular then get a taxi from the train station to the ground

Ninian pub is nearest to the ground and where members of this board regulaly meet before games. I'll buy you a pint...... then again, that depends on whether you're in our end or the Swansea end

Hiya mate! Alright? wrote:Ninian pub is nearest to the ground and where members of this board regulaly meet before games. I'll buy you a pint...... then again, that depends on whether you're in our end or the Swansea end

We'll fiond our way towards the Ninian pub and have us bought a pint! We're in your end of course: Ninian Stand, block 111.
You'll recognise us anyway, two awfully handsome Dutch guys in their 40-s
Sun Oct 24, 2010 6:46 pm
We'll look forward to seeing you there see you there
You'll know which one is Annis, as he'll be trying to sell you a book

Just another question: after the match we have to leave right away to catch our flight home. We're flying from Bristol. Where should we best park our car if we want to avoid the traffic jam after the match?
Sun Oct 31, 2010 12:42 pm
Welcome to the site, Great project you got going on there. Parking is tricky, I would park in the other football ground opposite (Is it NTL's ground?). Get there early it's £5 you should miss the traffic and get stright on the M4. Or park near Bessema road.
Good Luck.

tickets were on open sale, midfield general this topic was posted on the 16th sept so tickets were in hand then, when did you try and buy yours ?
guys the ninian is open at 10 and they serve a great breakfast, (ask annis he'll be the one eating it off a silver tray) and as mentioned lots of the members on here drink in there match day in the lounge area, friendly and family orientated
see you sunday
Sun Oct 31, 2010 4:12 pm
there we go then, and maybe they didnt know you wanted to go
i didnt realise you had to give an address to by a ticket for a home game other than to get it posted, unless they are collecting them. know its the scum but still didnt realise that still went on

last week, granted it was late but if the club would just take a small look at their records they will know that I have brought tickets for many games this season so why would I not want a ticket for the Swansea game..? Yet they sell them to a guy from Holland!!! Having said that whos address did this guy give to get his ticket..?
Just my own, got a regular membership on the clubs online ticket shop. I was wondered myself it went on general sale, but hey, don't blame me for getting tickets the regular way! And in Holland I support Willem II Tilburg, not Den Haag. So no worries!

but thats another thing. Everyone knows Swansea have a special relationship with Den Haag yet the club sell tickets to people in Holland with no questions asked when their regular fans are without tickets.
What is the point of having a database..?
im trying to understnad this, your saying everytime you walk up to the counter for a ticket they ask you for your address ?
on the database front are the club supposed to hold onto a ticket for everyone on the database ? that wouldnt work seeing as the datebase would be holding all the names for people who bought tickets for wembley which would outweigh the seating in our stadium, surelly all fans who are not season ticket holders know, the remaining walk up allocation go on a first come first served basis, and for what ever reason you couldnt purchase them at the time of release, its not the fault of someone who did.
hope this makes sence not trying to gaude just trying to understand your bitterness
