Anybody Help??

I'm looking for a bit of advice, If anybody can put my mind at rest I'd appreciate it. :ayatollah:

Last month I was driving my Company Transit and this car in front of me braked sharply at a zebra crossing, I also braked VERY sharply and thought I'd hit the car, I got out/she got out and we assessed the "damage" and there was none, I was the width of a rizla paper away from her.

Today I was called into the office and was shown a Met Police report, stating that I have been reported for leaving a scene of an Accident and she's putting a claim in against me :shock:

..WTF..needless to say I'm raging but also concerned about what happens next

Any Ideas??

Think it will be a wrap on the knuckles mate - Missus has had 2 similar scenarios - first one was an actual bump - it was the other blokes fault but as we had no witnesses it got settled 50/50 after nearly two years. Second time she hit a car in the supermarket but nobody was around - she went in to the store and gave the number plate and lingered for 30 mins but nobody came out - the old bill paid her a visit that evening and said they had to follow up as she left the scene and somebody witnessed her "driving off" - the other car had no damage - Police told her to report any incident to her insurers regardless of whether there was any damage and said the matter was over as far as they were concerned - it never affected her insurance etc.. I wouldn't worry it is probably some woman trying it on to get some compo - with no witnesses and no damage nothing will happen.
