Preston will be without several key players against Cardiff on Saturday.

Injuries: Patrick Bauer (heel), Ched Evans (foot), Connor Wickham (hamstring), Isaiah Brown (achiles tendon) and Matthew Olosunde (heel).

Josh Murphy is injured but also ineligible to play against his parent club.

Cardiff will be without three players against Preston due to fitness issues. James Collins is a doubt with his broken thumb, Sam Bowen is missing with a foot injury while Isaac Vassell remains absent long term.

Tom Sang could come back into contention after training well this week. Kieron Evans is a doubt after getting injured on international break with Wales under-21s.
